What Quiddity is
Quiddity is a storytelling service for people in the United States and Canada. An AI Biographer interviews you out loud, one question at a time, and follows where you lead. Each story you tell is kept in your own voice and shared only with the people you choose.
It is for anyone with a story — your own, or the story of someone you love. You do not need to be old, ill, or planning for anything.
The rule it is built around
Every word you say is preserved exactly as spoken — never rewritten, summarized, or polished. Once a transcript is saved, it is never edited. Only you can change a story, by recording it again.
We call this the Verbatim Law. Other services edit your words into tidy prose. We never touch them.
What we will and won’t do
- You decide who hears each story: only you, your family, one specific person, or everyone. For every signed-in listener, the Avatar included, those rules are enforced in the database itself, not only in the app.
- Your voice recordings and transcripts are never sold, and are never used for advertising.
- There is no subscription. You pay once for recorded sessions, nothing renews, and your session credits never expire.
- Quiddity runs in your web browser. There is nothing to install.
